Competition : My favourite Food
Primary School children across Ceredigion and Powys were invited to enter a competition to draw their favourite food. Many excellent quality entries were received and the judges were very impressed by the efforts made by all entrants and by the creativity of the children.
The winning designs have been used to create notebooks and cotton shopping bags to promote the work of the Partnership.
The Central Wales Waste Partnership would like to thank all the schools and children that took part.
Above, the Winning entries on display with Councillors Ken Harris and Ray Quant, former Chairman / Vice Chairman of the Central Wales Waste Partnership.
Seven year old Ruby Westrip (pictured) from Whitton primary school was one of the lucky winners and was presented with her prize by Cllr Ken Harris, former Local Member for Knighton and Mr. Graham Skipworth, Chair of the Board of Governors.
